TV action to raise awareness for breast cancer outside of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Every October, Breast Cancer Awareness month, the media gets flooded with pink advertising about breast cancer's enormous threat. How could we make people talk about breast cancer outside of that month?
Color Vision, one of the firsts Dominican T.V. Stations and one of the current views leaders,
wanted to do something to make people talk about it outside of October.
First, we needed to get their attention. With the help of Mariasela Alvarez, one of the most respected T.V. anchors in the country, we gave her Primetime Live T.V. audience something to talk about.
Mariasela started her show "Topless," and people went all in.
They started reacting to what they saw instantly, commenting all over social media about what they just saw at the show's start.
At the end of the show, and with the support of other influencers and T.V. hosts from the channel, Mariasela told viewers that they could have taken the same time they took to post about her breasts to check theirs owns.
